Blueberry farming was started in Toyone-mura around 20 years ago. Blueberries are grown focusing on the highbush blueberry variety utilizing the cool climate of the highlands. Blueberry farmers in Toyone-mura open up their fields for blueberry picking every year from around July to mid-August so visitors can enjoy freshly picked blueberries. Mt. Myojin is located on the border of the southwest part of Toei-cho and Shinshiro. It is one of the tallest mountains in Aichi with a height of 1,016m. Myojin is a name given to praise the gods.
