This course is great for those who want to enjoy the beautiful nature of Oku Mikawa. The course starts out on Mt. Myojin with an elevation of 1,016m. Enjoy seasonal flowers on your hike as well as the view from the top of the mountain. Afterwards, have fun viewing Furikusa Ravine and Tsutanofuchi Falls. The course ends at Toei Hot Springs where you can relieve the fatigue of your trip.
The town of Toei designated this as a scenic spot and this was selected as one of the top 8 mountains of Oku Mikawa. Enjoy rhododendrons and miyama azaleas in spring as well as the changing of the leaf colors in autumn. The view from the top of the mountain is popular.
Emerald green waters flow through the sharp and tall rock canyon. The fresh verdure of spring and changing of the colors in autumn are especially breathtaking sights.
Tsutanofuchi Falls are large falls with a width of around 70m and height of 10m on the Ochisegawa River which flows through the center of Toei-cho. These large falls are called the Niagara Falls of Oku Mikawa and offer different scenery throughout the year for visitors to enjoy.
This is a treatment-type hot spring which is rare in Japan. There are many different types of baths including outdoor baths, ceramic baths and lie-down type baths. There is also a restaurant serving great tasting local dishes.
