The Toyokawa Inari was known as Toyokawa Dakinishinten enshrined on the Myogonji Temple grounds when it was established in 1441. This temple was worshiped by warriors and scholars such as Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Watanabe Kazan spreading faith all over Japan while enshrining gods of business prosperity and peace and prosperity in the household. This is one of the Three Major Inari Temples in Japan with millions of visitors coming here every year.
