Sasayuri no Sato
See | Seasonal Flowers | SummerIn the early summer of 1993, roots of Lilium Japonicum (Sasayuri) were found in the mountains along the Pacific coast where sasayuri grew in clusters. After various surveys and research, those seeds were taken in 1995. Some of the carefully grown bulbs were planted in the mountains near the coast. After frequent mowing and sterilization, Sasayuri no Sato, a place where many of these flowers bloom, was created in 2003.
On Saturday and Sunday of around July 10th every year, Lilium Japonicum (Sasayuri) Festival is held, tea service is available to visitors, also seedings that bloom in the summer, and potted flowers of Lilium Japonicum (Sasayuri) are sold.
