Souvenirs | ConfectioneryThis is a famous cake that Wakamatsuen, a shop established during the Edo Period, presented as a special product of Toyohashi to the emperor in Showa 3 (in 1928), to celebrate the emperor’s enthronement.
This is a tea ceremony cake that has been consumed by people for a long time. It is a cake in which Suhama(sweet bean paste) containing maccha(powdered green tea) is sandwiched between rice cake made from mochi rice. It has a simple and gentle taste.
