These are Mikawa goshiki tiri tubaki (Mikawa five-colored camellias). In the quiet temple grounds, these bloom on an old camellia tree that is 350 years old. The circumference of the trunk is about 1.8 meters. Double-flowered and peony-flowered orb-shaped flowers can be seen here.
